William Mattar Law Offices Welcomes Attorney Kristin Walker

car accident lawyerWilliam Mattar law offices is pleased to welcome Kristin L. Walker, Esq., to the firm’s attorney staff.  Ms. Walker will focus her practice on helping individuals injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents.

Born and raised in Moorestown, New Jersey, Ms. Walker currently resides in Syracuse. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2008, where she served as Managing Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Communications and Research Department. While attending law school, Ms. Walker also clerked for the Honorable David N. Hurd of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. Ms. Walker received her B.A. from Villanova University in 2002.

Prior to joining William Mattar law offices, Ms. Walker worked at several civil litigation and personal injury law firms in Upstate New York, and practiced corporate law at McCarter & English LLP in New York City. Ms. Walker is passionate about legal strategy and says she is, “acutely aware of the human element to personal injury matters and strives to bring compassion to the clients she serves.” She is also active in the community, having served for years as a Board Member and Officer for the local Meals-On-Wheels program.

Ms. Walker is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, and she brings more than twelve years of practice experience to the firm. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Syracuse University College of Law and teaches in the law school’s JD Residential and JD Interactive programs. Ms. Walker is an attorney member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the Onondaga County Bar Association.
