Attorney Annabelle Gao Joins William Mattar Law Offices

William Mattar law offices is pleased to welcome Annabelle Gao, Esq., to the firm’s attorney staff at its principal location in Williamsville, NY. Ms. Gao grew up in Ontario, Canada, where she graduated from McMaster University, receiving an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Ms. Gao went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association, Managing Editor of the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review, and as Public Relations Director for the Buffalo Moot Court Board. In her final year of law school, Ms. Gao was a Student Attorney with the Family Violence and Women’s Rights Clinic. Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Gao received the Maurice Frey Award for her excellence in family law.

Ms. Gao is admitted to practice law in New York, and prior to joining William Mattar law offices, she worked at civil litigation law firms. Ms. Gao is passionate about helping people, and according to her, “It is even more important to help someone when no one else would; a slim chance of succeeding is not a good reason to give up on someone. To me, fighting that uphill battle is sometimes more rewarding, because that’s what making a difference is all about.”
