Every year, as the world gathers in anticipation of ‘the Big Game,’ William Mattar is no exception. Behind the Scenes
At a William Mattar commercial shoot, we have a team of about 35 crew members, all working together to bring a creative vision to life. The production process can span several months, and each team member has a distinct role to play. From our talented directors, lighting and camera operators, and sound engineers to the creative minds handling wardrobe, makeup, and acting, every person plays an important part.
Where the Spot was Filmed – The Buffalo History Museum:
Originally the Buffalo Historical Society, the roots of the Buffalo History Museum can be traced back to 1862. Here are some facts you may not know about this iconic Buffalo landmark.
- The present home of the Buffalo History Museum was designed for the 1901 Pan American Exposition. It is the only structure that was intended to remain from the exposition.
- Each Spring, tourists, and locals alike flock to the Mirror Lake Japanese Garden, which is adjacent to the Buffalo History Museum. The museum is a stately backdrop, especially when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
- The museum isn’t just filled with photographs, letters and traditional artifacts. Sports fans can enjoy the Icons permanent exhibit, which highlights the unique history of Buffalo’s professional sports teams. It includes interactive displays and game worn jerseys.
- Anyone who has a connection to Buffalo is welcomed and encouraged to submit stories, photos, videos, and related objects as history is happening all the time! They currently have the Blizzard of 2022 Collecting Initiative actively accepting stories and videos to document this event.
