On December 28th of 2021 our client was driving down the highway when their car started to experience some trouble. The client was forced to slow down and stop in the left lane. The defendant, who was driving a large truck, was not paying attention and slammed into the rear of the car with no slowing or braking. The crash resulted in multiple fractures including both arms, shoulders, and ribs. Due to the extreme injuries the client was rushed to the hospital where their condition was extreme. The client coded out multiple times and they remained on a ventilator. Sadly, within two months of the collision the client passed away. Through a diligent investigation attorney Dan McGillicuddy was able to begin the negotiations with the trucking companies' insurance. After multiple mediations, Dan was able to get a three-million-dollar recovery for the client’s wife.
