Kelly Tripi

Buffalo native, Kelly Tripi, pursued both her undergraduate and law degrees at the University at
Buffalo. While in law school, Kelly practiced as a student attorney in the Family Violence and
Women’s Rights Clinic, advocating and representing victims of domestic violence. Kelly has
continued her advocacy through her membership with the Erie County Coalition Against Family
Violence. She is also a member of the Erie County Bar Association.

Beyond her attorney role at the firm, Kelly is an Adjunct Professor for Criminal Court Advocacy,
an undergraduate class at the University at Buffalo, where she shares her expertise with aspiring
attorneys. Her dedication to legal education and advocacy demonstrates her commitment to the
field and its future professionals.

Kelly believes in a collaborative approach to working with clients, ensuring they are informed
and supported throughout their legal journey. She is committed to giving each client the time and
attention their case deserves, guided by values of integrity and client-focused advocacy. Her
passion for law stems from a lifelong desire to advocate for others, and she places a strong
emphasis on communication as the foundation for lasting professional relationships.

Having been with William Mattar for over a decade, Kelly considers her colleagues to be family.
She is deeply aligned with the firm's mission to provide a strong voice for clients in need and is
committed to securing positive outcomes through dedicated effort. She actively contributes to the
firm’s success through her hard work and advocacy. Many of Kelly’s clients are facing their first
car accident and often feel scared, hurt, and overwhelmed. She takes the time to listen to their
concerns and explains the legal process in a way that provides clarity and reassurance. Her
compassionate and thorough approach is what clients appreciate most about working with her.

Outside of her legal practice, Kelly enjoys spending time with her children and traveling. She
maintains her work-life balance through exercise and is dedicated to community service. A
passionate advocate for animal rescue, she shares her home with Sasha, a beloved rescue from
the City of Buffalo animal shelter.
