Building A Law Firm
William Mattar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 1986 and received his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 1988. After gaining experience at another law firm, he founded William Mattar in 1990 in Williamsville, New York.
Over time, William Mattar narrowed his practice to focus exclusively on motor vehicle accident injury cases, including car, truck, motorcycle, and rideshare accidents. With more than 35 years of experience, he has built a firm that has represented tens of thousands of people injured in motor vehicle accidents across New York State. He is an Eagle Scout and has long been involved with the Boy Scouts of America, Greater Niagara Frontier Council. Since 2002, he has served as chairman of the organization’s annual dinner, helping raise funds that support programs benefiting more than 10,000 children. He is also active in his church and has held leadership roles in numerous civic and charitable organizations.
William’s hobbies include spending time with his wife and children, cooking, hiking, and volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America with his sons, who have followed in his footsteps to become Eagle Scouts.
