What is Pencils 4 Schools?
It’s time for the William Mattar Pencils 4 Schools program! Teachers, school principals and educators are encouraged to participate. To date, we have donated over 2 million pencils to teachers and students throughout the communities we serve and are looking forward to helping more classrooms again this year.
At William Mattar, P.C., we know that education is key to a successful future. With school budgets decreasing, many teachers purchase supplies for their students with their own money. The William Mattar Pencils 4 Schools program helps lessen this financial burden for teachers.
Our goal is to help local educators and students achieve their academic goals; having enough school supplies on your first day is a great way to start.
Pickup event on August 16, 2024, from 2:00PM – 4:00PM at Florence Brasser Elementary School, 1000 Chili Center Coldwater Road, Rochester, NY 14624

Eligible teachers will receive a Pencil Pickup Invitation for the in-person pickup on August 17, 2024, at our Williamsville office (6720 Main Street, Williamsville, NY 14221) from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. If you cannot attend, designate someone to pick up for you with your invitation. An alternate pickup date for August 28, 2024, from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM and from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. More information will be emailed to those who could not pick up their pencils on 8/17.
New York State teachers can request a bulk box of 250 pencils for their classroom.

* Registrants must be a resident of New York State and scheduled to teach in New York State during the 2024/2025 school year to register for this program. The registration period for the William Mattar Pencils 4 Schools Program begins on July 31, 2024, at 12:00 PM EST. The registration for the William Mattar Pencils 4 Schools Program ends on August 14, 2024, at 12:00 PM EST, but may end earlier if all available pencils are claimed. If the registration form is not filled out correctly or in its entirety, the entry may be disqualified. Please note that filling out a registration form does not guarantee that you will receive a pencil donation. Supplies are limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of registrations exceeds the number of pencils available, we reserve the right to close registrations at that time. Employees of William Mattar, P.C. and their family members are not eligible to register for this program.
