William Mattar Showcases SPCA Serving Erie County in a New Television Commercial
William Mattar recently joined the SPCA Serving Erie County to produce a new television commercial highlighting the SPCA's vital services. The spot premiered during the annual William Mattar Rescue a Shelter Animal campaign and features clips of the tireless and important work that happens behind the scenes at the SPCA every day. This Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2020, William Mattar encourages the public to support the SPCA Serving Erie County by providing donations that will go directly towards rescuing animals, providing essential resources, and fighting animal cruelty. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that provides an opportunity for all to come together to support philanthropy and to celebrate generosity.
“From our Rescue a Shelter Animal campaign, we learned so much about the SPCA Serving Erie County and that they never stop serving our community. The SPCA staff and volunteers work diligently to prepare animals for adoption. We wanted the public to be aware of all the important work they do and encourage everyone to support them at this crucial time. Because once you see it firsthand, you want to help, and you feel a sense of responsibility to make everyone else around you aware. The Erie County SPCA is in critical need of funds and every donation makes a difference, especially on this Giving Tuesday,” said William Mattar.
“Giving Tuesday is a chance to assist organizations that help the community in so many ways,” says Gina Lattuca, SPCA Serving Erie County chief communications officer, “and each year we find ourselves increasingly grateful to the people who donate to help our animals. This year, our gratitude is increased exponentially with the contribution from William Mattar. He funded this unique way to share an important message: that the SPCA Serving Erie County’s work in serving the community never stops. We’re incredibly thankful to William Mattar and his team, for providing this rare, behind-the-scenes peek into the work going on every day at the SPCA.”
Giving Tuesday takes place every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving day, and individuals, communities, and businesses around the world come together to promote generosity and philanthropy by donating to organizations in need. This Giving Tuesday, William Mattar encourages the public to consider donating to the SPCA Serving Erie County as all donations directly benefit vital services to animals in need.
In support of the SPCA Serving Erie County, William Mattar covered the cost of the SPCA Serving Erie County commercial and has donated all the airtime. See the commercial here.
