William Mattar Brings Awareness to Local Dog Shelter

You may already know that, every November, car accident lawyer William Mattar runs the Rescue a Shelter Animal Campaign to support New York State shelters and rescues.  

But the efforts to raise awareness doesn’t stop there. William Mattar and his team continue to work with local shelters to spread awareness about the conditions of puppy mills, the disadvantages of purchasing animals from breeders, and the number of animals in foster care and shelters that are already awaiting a loving home. 

Rochester, New York Pet Adoption 

If you’re looking to adopt a new furry friend in the Rochester, New York, area, look no further than New 2 U Rescue! This wonderful organization is dedicated to finding loving forever homes for dogs in need. Unlike traditional shelters, New 2 U Rescue does not have a physical shelter. Instead, all of their dogs live in foster homes, which allows staff to better assess each dog’s needs and personality. 

If you’re interested in adopting a dog from New 2 U Rescue, there are a few things to keep in mind. They primarily adopt to homes in the Rochester area, although they will consider applications from homes a few hours outside the area if all requirements are met. They also require an in-person meeting with family members and existing pets, as well as a home visit. 

It’s important to note that New 2 U Rescue takes their role as a rescue organization very seriously. They are dedicated to finding the best possible match for each of their dogs, and they will make exceptions to their requirements if they believe it’s in the best interest of the dog. That said, they do require that anyone wanting to meet any of their dogs first submit an application, and they do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
