Document Processor Job Opening
Document Processor is responsible for processing all incoming mail and facsimiles, cataloging scanned paper files, and cataloging case evidence.
Essential Duties:
- Extend outstanding customer service to internal and external clients
- Process and sort all incoming mail and faxes
- Distribute all processed mail and facsimiles to the intended recipients according to established criteria
- Follow an established document flow process by organizing and cataloging previously scanned paper files
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the catalogued items
- Organize and create a catalogue of existing evidence for client cases
- Maintain catalogue in order and update as new evidence becomes available
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with attorneys, colleagues, and management
- Effectively utilize case management software to manage workload, document all work, and communicate with firm employees
- Attend and participate in trainings for continued growth and development
- Participate in special projects assigned by management while completing daily tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
Associate’s degree in a related field
Experience Requirements: Experience working with documents both paper and in electronic format
