For the past 31 years, The Buffalo News has been holding a charity drive each spring to raise funds benefiting the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and Variety Kids. The Buffalo News’ Kids Day will be held from 6-10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29. During that time, volunteers will be standing near major roadways in the region selling copies of The Buffalo News for just $1. The money raised goes directly to those seeking medical assistance through programs supplied by the Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. The campaign is in need of volunteers to sell papers and has numerous four-hour time slots available for those who wish to take part in this great event. If four hours is too long, accommodations can be made. Those who wish to get involved can sign up online or by calling (716) 849-4526. Those who cannot participate but wish to donate can do so by donating via PayPal. Registration to volunteer closes Friday, April 11. The Personal Injury Lawyers with William Mattar Law Offices encourage citizens to help others in need in the community by signing up to take part in this wonderful event.
