In the fall of 2021 our client was injured as a result of a distracted driver pulling out in front of them and colliding with their car which then launched them further into oncoming traffic. The initial driver was ticketed by the officers responding to the scene. Within three days of the accident the client called into the William Mattar Law offices. This client underwent extensive treatment for their torn left hip.
Over the course of this case the client went to physical therapy, pain management, massage therapy as well as chiropractic care. This eventually resulted in the client requiring surgery due to the severity of the tear in the client’s shoulder. Despite an initial denial regarding surgery the client was able to get the surgery they needed.
The insurance company initially offered only $6,000, which attorney Peter Mattar denied was sufficient compensation for the injuries this client sustained. In order to obtain the recovery the client deserved Peter filed suit for this client. During the time leading up to the potential trial Peter was able to get the insurance company to tender its $50,000 BI policy. Peter worked to eventually get this client an additional SUM policy tender for a total recovery of $100,000.
