The 11 Day Power Play, Inc. was founded by Mike and Amy Lesakowski in 2016, eight years after Amy was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Together they created The 11 Day Power Play hockey game in 2017, which runs for 11 days straight. The game benefits Make-A-Wish Western New York, Camp Good Days and Special Times, and The Roswell Park & Oishei Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.
This year, the 11 Day Power Play will take place from November 14th through 24th at Buffalo Riverworks, 359 Ganson Street, Buffalo, New York. 40 hockey players will attempt to break the world record for the longest hockey game ever played. Over 252 hours…11 days!
The 11 Day Power Play has been raising critical funds for cancer causes in our community since 2017. Join William Mattar and help Western New York families battling cancer. Donate today! Go to 11daypowerplay.com !
