Comedy Show, Auction, and Raffle Raising Funds for “A Dog For Jack”

February 28, 2014 Service animals can be extremely beneficial in helping  individuals with disabilities or special needs lead normal and productive lives. However, the costs associated with purchasing and training service animals can be enormous. That is why the Rochester Personal Injury Lawyers with William Mattar Law Offices are happy to donate items to be auctioned at an event to raise money to purchase a service animal for a nine-year-old boy from Ransomville, New York. The child suffers from autism and is non-verbal, which can prevent him from alerting caretakers when his blood sugar drops or spikes due to his juvenile diabetes. A service animal can be used to let others know when the boy’s blood sugar reaches dangerous levels, a skill could one day save his life. The event, called A Dog For Jack, will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Rob’s Comedy Playhouse on Sunday, April 6. A comedy show will take place in the early part of the evening, followed by a raffle and auction for donated prizes. At William Mattar Law Offices, our team of attorneys take pride in assisting others in the community with their needs and encourage all to attend this upcoming event in support of this special young man and his need for a service dog!
