“Beer for Cats” Event Is Tonight in Buffalo

There are countless felines without homes and in need of care in the Buffalo area. Here at William Mattar Law Offices, we have a soft spot for animals seeking a forever home, and we would like to let you know about two upcoming events being held in support of these creatures. If you’re looking for a cat to adopt, be sure to also keep an eye out on our social media sites for our Whisker Wednesday campaign, where we highlight a cat available for adoption in the Buffalo area. If you are unable to bring an animal into your home but would still like to help, there’s a way. The “Beer for Cats” campaign is taking place tonight, May 9, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Mr. Goodbar on Elmwood Avenue. WIVB 4 News reports the event is being sponsored by the Ten Lives Club and will feature a raffle and silent auction. All proceeds will benefit the organization’s shelter. The personal injury attorneys at William Mattar Law Offices encourages you to get out and support animals in need. However, the firm recognizes alcohol will be served at tonight’s event, which can  increase the chances of Buffalo car accidents. That’s why the firm asks that if you are going to drink, please refrain from driving and instead call a cab or loved one to get you home safely.
